Kernl

Kernl is a marketplace for buying and selling things. At the time of my working on the MVP, it was a mobile crowd-funding platform that combined Snapchat-like features with the funding abilities of Kickstarter.


I worked on the MVP that allowed the founders to raise a successful seed round before pivoting. This included an iOS application in Swift that had user profiles, news feeds, video creation and editing, project management and payment processing. The server, written in Node.js, provided read and write functionality for the mobile app as well as encoded videos and processed donations. I also worked on the website, which allowed donations, in React.
